Styles come and go. Good design is a language, not a style
We were commissioned to design a simple, classy wine label design that’s based on the Portuguese sport of Bullfighting. A Forcado is a member of a group of men that performs the “pega de cara” : the final event in a typical Portuguese bullfight.
Going with the target audience and the Portuguese theme, the design was kept minimal with a detailed pen illustration, accentuated by the lovely rich gold foil details.
